MyCor Development Partners is guided by a leadership group that brings decades of combined experience in development, construction, finance, and project execution. Led by Juan Galan, Marc Ferguson and Tim Newman, the team has managed major commercial, residential, and hospitality projects across the region, giving MyCor a balanced foundation of strategic planning and proven, real-world building expertise.

Juan,  Tim and Marc have built a group of development managers, construction professionals, financial specialists, and design partners who work as a unified force from the earliest planning stages through final delivery. Their shared focus on clarity, quality, and long-term value ensures that every project reflects the company’s vision and meets the expectations of both clients and community stakeholders.

Juan Galán is a seasoned finance and operations executive with nearly 35 years of experience leading complex, multi-entity organizations across construction, real estate development, healthcare, and advanced biomedical ventures. He has directed and advised companies involved in more than $1billion in combined projects, including large commercial developments, medical facilities, regulated laboratories, and multi-state operating businesses.

Juan’s career has been defined by his ability to engineer financial structure, manage risk, and create operational systems that allow large projects to move with clarity and control. He has overseen multi-phase developments, managed corporate reorganizations, structured capital raises, built international holding companies, and guided teams through regulatory approvals, acquisitions, and market expansion.

His leadership includes:

• Managing $250M+ general contracting and development operations
• Leading capital raises and investor structuring exceeding $75 million
• Overseeing multi-entity holding companies spanning real estate, construction, healthcare, and biotech
• Developing integrated ecosystems that include construction, brokerage, title, payroll, and property management functions

Juan is known for his strategic mindset, financial discipline, and ability to unite diverse teams around a common vision. His work has taken him across the U.S., the UAE, and Europe, where he continues to build cross-border development platforms and long-term partnerships.

He brings a practical, results-driven approach to every project, ensuring that MyCor Development Partners operates with the same structure, accountability, and forward planning that have defined his career.

Tim Newman brings more than 30 years of construction and development leadership, with a portfolio that exceeds half a billion dollars in completed work across Arizona and the western United States. His experience covers luxury residential communities, complex commercial campuses, high-end hospitality projects, and amenity-rich club facilities. Tim has played a central role in landmark builds including the $52 million ANDAZ Hotel, multimillion-dollar clubhouses and villas throughout Desert Mountain, and major community assets in Verrado, DC Ranch, and Marley Park.

As the owner and manager of several licensed contracting companies, Tim holds commercial, residential, engineering, and pool licenses—allowing him to oversee every phase of a project from early planning through final delivery. His work includes:

• Luxury residential programs totaling more than 300 custom and semi-custom homes, valued at over $195 million
• Signature golf and clubhouse amenities ranging from $1 million to $7.5 million
• Commercial office and retail developments exceeding $4 million per building
• Hospitality, restaurant, and specialty projects ranging from $1 million to $5 million

Tim is known for disciplined execution, deep technical knowledge, and a straightforward leadership style that has earned long-term trust from developers, architects, and community partners. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from Arizona State University and continues to approach every project with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality that have defined his career.

Marc Ferguson brings more than 35 years of experience to the team and has been an integral part of PWI Construction since its earliest days. He began his career as an estimator, giving him a strong command of both the technical and conceptual sides of the building process. That foundation allows him to approach every project with a clear view of cost, constructability and long-term value.

Marc is known for his genuine enthusiasm for the work. He enjoys collaborating with clients and project teams, and he takes pride in seeing high-quality spaces come to life. Whether it’s a hotel, restaurant or mixed-use environment, his greatest satisfaction comes from watching people enjoy the places he helped build.

He is an active member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and the Retail Contractors Association (RCA). Outside the office, Marc spends time with his wife, Mary, their family, and enjoys hiking, biking and skiing.
